Coal-fired (biomass) hot blast furnace (boiler) is directly burned by fuel, and hot air is formed by high purification treatment, and the material is directly in contact with heating, drying or baking.
1. Direct type high purification coal-fired (biomass) hot blast furnace (boiler)
It is the use of fuel direct combustion, after high purification treatment to form hot air, and direct contact with the material heating drying or baking. The fuel consumption in this method is about half as low as with steam or other indirect heaters. Therefore, without affecting the quality of the drying product, direct high-purification hot air can be used.
The fuel is solid fuel, such as coal, coke, biomass.
The high-temperature combustion gas obtained after the combustion reaction of the fuel is further in contact with the outside air, mixed to a certain temperature and directly entered the drying room or baking room, and the dried material is in contact with the dried material to heat and evaporate the water, so as to obtain the dried product.
2. Indirect coal-fired (biomass) hot blast furnace (boiler)
It is mainly suitable for drying materials that are not allowed to be contaminated, or applied to drying heat-sensitive materials with low temperatures. Such as: pharmaceutical, synthetic resin, fine chemicals, etc. This kind of heating device is to use steam, heat transfer oil, flue gas, etc. as a carrier to heat the air through various forms of heat exchangers.
The most essential problem of indirect hot blast furnaces (boilers) is heat exchange. The larger the heat exchange area, the higher the heat conversion rate, the better the energy-saving effect of the hot blast furnace, and the longer the life of the furnace body and heat exchanger. Conversely, the size of the heat exchange area can also be identified from the flue gas temperature. The lower the smoke temperature, the higher the heat conversion rate, and the larger the heat exchange area.
