1、 Composition of coke oven gas:
Coke oven gas, also known as coke oven gas, is called Coke Oven Gas (C0G) in English name. Due to its many combustible components, it belongs to high calorific value gas, raw gas or raw gas. It refers to a combustible gas produced by using several types of bituminous coal to make coking coal, which is subjected to high-temperature dry distillation in the coking furnace, while producing coke and tar products. It is a byproduct of the coking industry. Coke oven gas is a mixture, and its yield and composition vary depending on the quality of coking coal and coking process conditions. Generally, each ton of dry coal can produce coke oven gas at a temperature of 300-350 ° C (standard state). Its main components are hydrogen (55%~60%) and carborundum (23%~27%). In addition, it also contains a small amount of carbon monoxide (5%~8%), unsaturated hydrocarbon above C2 (2%~4%), carbon dioxide (1.5%~3%), oxygen (0.3%~0.8%), and nitrogen (3%~7%). Among them, hydrogen, methane, carbon dioxide, and hydrocarbons above C2 are combustible components, while carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and oxygen are non combustible components.
2、 Characteristics of coke oven gas:
1. High heating value of coke oven gas 16720-18810kJ/m ³, High combustible content (about 90%);
2. Coke oven gas is a colorless and odorless gas;
3. Coke oven gas is toxic due to its presence of CO and a small amount of H2S;
4. Coke oven gas contains more hydrogen, has a fast combustion speed, and a shorter flame;
5. If the purification of coke oven gas is not good, it will contain a lot of tar and naphthalene, which will block pipes and fittings, making it difficult to adjust the fire;
6. The ignition temperature is 600~650C.
7. Coke oven gas contains H2 (55-60%), CH4 (23-27%), CO (5-8%), C02 (1.5-3.0%), N2 (3-7%), O2 (<0.5%), and C2H4 (2-4%); Density is 0.45~0.50 Kg/Nm
3、 Characteristics of coke oven gas burner:
(1) The solar term. The blast furnace gas burner adopts a stable flame disc structure, with uniform gas/air mixing and sufficient combustion. The solar term effect is better than other burners on the market by more than 20%.
(2) Automation control system. The design of coke oven gas burners must be based on "safety" and adopt automatic ignition, flameout protection, temperature automatic control, leakage protection, and gas cut-off functions. The rotary kiln adopts a wireless temperature measurement system, which is precise in temperature measurement, reduces the probability of operator misoperation, and improves the stability and safety of equipment operation.
(3) The coke oven gas burner can mix high coke gas.
